This letter is to notify you that your dependent ______________________________ intends to rent the premises at ____________________________, Boulder, Colorado for a period of approximately one year, commencing _______________ at a monthly rate of $__________.____.

This letter has been sent to you because of one or both of the following:

1. Your dependent has no or a short rental history, therefore making it difficult to verify their creditworthiness.

2. You will be providing financial support to your dependent during the term of the lease; therefore you should be aware of the financial obligation your dependent is accepting.

Your signature verifies you are providing financial support for your dependent during at least part of the lease term and you will take financial responsibility along with your dependent for performance of the lease contract. It is understood that without this consent the leasing agent may elect to not enter into the lease agreement.
